Have you missed us? Wondering where we’ve been? We’re still here, we promise!
You have probably noticed by now that our posts on WTF have crawled to a standstill. Don’t worry the crypto winter hasn’t stopped us from continuing to put out FREE educational content! We have taken our resources and redirected them towards the non-profit Blockchain Institute. You may have already seen some of the links and banners around the site pointing you in that direction. We are very proud of what we have created and want to share it with the BlockchainWTF audience.
Blockchain Institute’s mission is to promote the adoption, development, and use of blockchain technology. How are we going to accomplish this? By providing free courses on blockchain, cryptocurrencies, and decentralization. We strongly believe that the way forward is to make comprehensive educational materials available to everyone from beginners to developers and everyone in between.
We have been hard at work creating the courses that we wish were around when we were first introduced to blockchain. We have tried to make these courses as accessible as possible, covering a wide range of blockchain and decentralization topics.
This course familiarizes anyone with Blockchain Technology. What it is, where it came from, and the basics of how it works.
Demand for developers that can work with bitcoin and blockchain is higher than it has ever been. This course will give developers the tools they need to integrate Bitcoin with existing platforms, understand transactions, and wallets.
What is decentralized storage? Compared to centralized storage it is more resilient from censorship, and because of peer to peer protocols, and it doesn’t bottleneck as more people use it. This course will cover the basics of what it is and how it works.
WTF isn’t done, but we will continue to focus on building Blockchain Institute to be the best it possibly can.
If you believe in the adoption of decentralized systems and blockchain technology, please check out our free courses and let us know what you think. Your feedback will help us improve the tools we have to teach the world.
The Blockchain Institute has been a non-profit from day one, but we are very proud to announce that we have been granted 501(c)(3) status from the IRS. As a public charity, our resources will go even further, helping us complete our mission.
Those who wish to contribute to this charitable organization can do so through the organization’s website, theblockchaininstitute.org/donations. These charitable donations will provide resources to educate the blockchain community and can be taken as a credit on future tax filings in the United States.
