Bitspark launched in 2014 and is considered the world’s first cash-in, cash-out blockchain remittance platform for money transfer businesses. The platform offers features such as enterprise-grade security, compliance automation, and business analytics(Check out the Bitspark website here.)

Ryan’s company also created the Zephyr Token (ZEPH), a cryptocurrency which was founded with intend of eliminating banks from the remittance industry. The token’s Initial Coin Offering (ICO) raised an impressive 1.4 million dollars. (For more info on what an ICO is, check out our short and sweet explanation video here! Maxine Ryan serves as yet another fine example of a young entrepreneur helping to “move the chain.”

Ryan dropped out of college just 6 months prior to graduation, in order to pursue her entrepreneurial endeavors. Her story proves that one doesn’t necessarily need a college degree to achieve success.
