Wonder Woman VS. Batman
Our first contestant is none other than Gotham City’s very own Batman. As a boy, millionaire philanthropist Bruce Wayne witnessed the horrific murder of his parents and as a result dedicated his life to fighting crime in a tailor made bat costume, to conceal his true identity. Unlike other heroes, Batman doesn’t have any superpowers. Instead, he relies on martial arts training, his detective skills, and an arsenal of gadgets to defeat evil doers.
In the other corner, we have Princess Diana of Themyscira, Daughter of Hippolyta who is better known as the superhero Wonder Woman. When she isn’t busy fighting crime, Wonder Woman uses her secret identity Diane Prince who is a former Army nurse turned military intelligence officer. Along with her superhuman strength and speed, the Amazon Princess uses her Lasso of Truth and indestructible tiaras to battle the likes of Cheetah and Aries.
Now that we have introduced our two heroes, it’s time to determine which one would stand to benefit more from the use of blockchain technology. Let’s take a look at three crucial categories and see who definitely needs a Ledger Nano S in their arsenal.
Round 1: Who Benefits More From A Decentralized Database?
Batman: Maintaining his secret identity in order to prevent various super villains from showing up at his door step is especially essential for Batman. He doesn’t actually have any superpowers so getting caught without his bat suit and arsenal of crime fighting tools would likely spell the end for The Caped Crusader. There is no better way to keep your enemies from knowing your whereabouts than utilizing decentralized technology. Batman could purchase all his high tech gadgets using blockchains and cryptocurrency without anyone ever being able to determine his exact whereabouts. It’s defiantly a lot safer than a credit card when you’re trying to keep a low profile.
Wonder Woman: Decentralized technology would also help Wonder Woman conceal her identity and make various super hero type purchases simpler. However, even when she is out in public as Diane Prince, she still has her super human strength and speed to fall back on if a villain is able to locate her.
Round 2: Who Benefits More From Investing In Cryptocurrency?
Batman: Given that Bruce Wayne is already a multi millionaire he may not see the need to invest in cryptocurrency. That being said, custom made Batmobiles aren’t getting any cheaper, and neither are stylish Batcopters. Crime fighting can be expensive, so it never hurts to have a diverse portfolio of cryptocurrency to fall back on.
Wonder Woman: Unlike Batman, Wonder Woman doesn’t have the luxury of having been born into a wealthy family. Grabbing some Litecoin and ZCash might not be a bad idea for the Amazon Princess who seems to change jobs quite frequently. In fact, as Diane Prince, she has been a nurse, businesswoman, United Nations worker and even an astronaut. Perhaps mining some cryptocurrency will alleviate the need for her to work so hard.
Round 3: Who Benefits More From Using Blockchains To Manage Healthcare Records?
Batman: The Caped Crusader has taken his share of damage over the years while tangling with villains like The Joker and Catwoman. This means that having secure, easy to access, time stamped medical files would help ensure that Batman gets the proper care he needs. Moreover, the fact that his records can’t be altered will help simplify any insurance claims down the road.
Wonder Woman: Given that Wonder Woman was sculpted from clay by her mother back in the 1940s; she will most certainly have a unique medical history. Moreover, because many doctors in the United States may not be equipped to treat people made of clay; having a peer to peer option for accessing her records would be nice. This way if she needs to travel to another realm to obtain services she can simply share her data with any being that has access to blockchain technology.
Winner: Wonder Woman
